Boundaries protect what we value most
Better Boundaries Pilot - Tuesday 3rd September 12pm - 12.45pm
Register here - places limited. Fully funded and open to everyone.
I’m not sure if a recording will be available, depends how the session goes.
The session Better Boundaries will be available for clients to book from late September. The pilot will help me understand if scenario based learning is a more effective way to help people create healthy habits.
Draft Outline
Why do we struggle to establish healthy boundaries? - the science
Define our values - what are our 3 most important life aims? - easier to set healthier boundaries when our priorities are clear
Plan to set one boundary over the next month to improve our life situation - convert intention into effective action
Working hypothesis
Could setting healthier boundaries be the catalyst for other helpful changes in our life?
Self esteem, confidence, relationships, quality of work, managing anxiety etc.
For example;
When I set healthier boundaries about checking my phone, could I manage my stress and anxiety more effectively?
When I set healthier boundaries about disconnecting from work could I give more quality time and attention to strengthening relationships?
When I set clear boundaries with certain people could it help them to treat me in a more considerate way?
As it’s a pilot please keep expectations low, but I will try really hard to make it valuable for you.

Text Shout - 85258 - simple support via text, I used when I wasn't sure who to turn to
Call Samaritans 116 123 - no problem too small, I've used a couple of times, once during a relationship break up, once when one of my family said they were suicidal and I wasn't sure who to ask for help
